Looking for Cross-School Collaboration

Hi!

I'm a high school world history teacher in Chicago, IL looking to develop some relationships with teachers across the globe for potential collaborative work with my 9th grade students, who are involved in a year of thematic studies into topics covering the environment, religion, government, and human rights.

I'd like to get my students active in any number of web 2.0 tools this year (twitter, ning/grouply, etc.)

Are there any teachers out there who might be interested in sharing some ideas and maybe making some connections?

I am working with social studies classes at a high school in Colorado. I have some teachers that would be interested in setting up some collaborative work. What are you thinking of doing with your class?
