Looking for fellow Skypers

Hi all! My fourth grade classroom is looking to connect with a few classrooms from around the country to learn more about other regions. We are from Maine--ideally, we'd like to talk with classes outside of the Northeast. We're interested in doing a read-aloud via Skype using the book "L is for Lobster" to teach others a little about our state. In turn, we'd like to have classrooms share similar books with us. We'd also be interested in other ideas you may have. So, if you're interested, let me know!

Dear Jen,

I have been developing an adjustable web cam stand, I have some acceptable prototypes that I AM NOT selling. They work fine with light weight web cameras but do not support video or digital cameras well enough to market. If you would like one of these prototype supports, ABSOLUTELY FREE please email me vised@optonline.net

You'll be able to adjust the height of the webcam and even use it as a document camera.
If it works for you, great, just let me know. If not, just toss it.....I think that it will work well for that model.

I just recently discover Skype and am still playing around with it. I would like to be able to join you Skype group and see what you will be doing and how your classes interact with each other.
