Full Session Description (as long as you would like):
QR Codes are a two-dimensional barcode technology that has gained popularity in the last few years with the proliferation of mobile phone and tablet technologies. These codes trigger actions on a mobile device, for example, opening a webpage or playing an online video. This session will include an introduction to the uses of QR Codes, including a short primer on how to create them. Facilitators will then give examples on how QR Codes can be used in the language classroom, and how these interactions can be strung together for meaningful educational experiences, for example, through scavenger hunt games.
I noticed that our presentation was accepted... Thank you!
Now, how do I go about scheduling it for presentation during the week. I haven't seen it listed in the conference schedule, nor have I received an email with details. We are free much of the week to present this session.
This is something I would love to learn more about... sounds like it could be useful in a second language classroom.
