Given the traffic event this will generate and the worldwide streaming of this event, it will probably be the most watched internet moment in history to date. I'm wondering how the whole system will handle the load. Can anyone share links regarding this side of the story?

Reviving after a brain freeze, I realized that we will be watching at 11:00 CST not at noon! Remember, it's not like dropping the ball on New Year's Eve where we forget that the ball had already dropped an hour earlier.
