Personal Computing Devices

Does your school or district allow you to connect personal devices to their wireless network?  If so, how do you feel about allowing your students to use your personal devices?  My district doesn't allow for personal devices to be connected to their network however I still allow my students to use my iPad for the educational apps that I download at home. If they break my device I'm out of luck but I still feel it's worth the risk because of the great apps that available for learning.  Your thoughts?
