Principal's Blog and Ideas

Hello everyone. I have taken the jump into maintaining a blog with updates every week or two in an attempt to gain feedback - or simply provide an additional forum for communication.

So far, a pretty good start. Please check it out. I am certainly open to additional ideas for future topics that may generate interest.

Congratulations on taking the plunge. I think more administrators should blog. It helps all the people in the community (teachers, students, parents, etc.) know what's going on. If you haven't already read The School Administrator's Guide to Blogging by Mark Stock. I highly recommend it. He was a pioneer in administration blogging. He was also my superintendent for many years and I know him as a wise man. I believe our district improved when he started blogging.
