Setting Objectives and Providing Feedback

I am doing research about Marzano's Nine Essential Instructional Strategies; specifically Setting Objectives and Providing Feedback. Does anyone have any resources, thoughts on the topics, how you use it in your classroom, etc? Any thoughts would be great. Thanks!
