Smartboard Question

I was creating a smartboard file. I wanted to change the color or the object. I saw it on a blog, and just can't remember where. Can anyone help? I want to change the color of the notes on a musical scale.

I am not sure that you can change the color or an image inserted from the gallery. You can change an object that you draw or a shape you insert by clicking on it, click on the drop down arrow, select properties adjust the fill color in the properties tab.

Thanks so much. I'll give it a try. For some reason I thought I needed to use the transparency function. I'll give it a try though. Thanks again for your help.
