I thought I saw a thread about this but cannot find it now. And so thinking forward about our possible uses for Haiku at our school ..... school newspaper! Is it possible to create a page or a link from our main page to a newspaper like page where students could be given access to edit, set up with columns like a real newspaper, ability to post pictures, videos, all within the private space of our own Haiku ...

This space could perhaps have a history (I'm thinking wiki here) so teachers could figure out who is doing what to the page, and perhaps even a function that enables teachers to view the content before it gets "published" ... I don't know, lots of ideas but just wondered if you were considering this type of use for Haiku ...

Thanks

This is a fantastic use case...and there are examples of newsletters in use now..but teacher newsletters instead of student publications...however the history and moderation features for student pages are just around the corner. Keep your eyes peeled for one of our next feature releases called Project Pages that should appear no later than Spring 2010. We can involve you in the design process if you are interested. Let me know. :)

Bryan ... yes, please, count me in.

I am also the debate coach for our school and would also like to set up a "page" for debate where students can post content, etc. I'm using a wiki at the moment and could certainly provide a link on my Haiku page, but I can see benefits of having it all under one roof, so to speak! Marcia
