Like many of the educators I know, you have probably heard of TeacherTube, but like me, you may wonder how TeacherTube differs from YouTube, and how it compares to alternative video hosting sites. In March, I checked out TeacherTube and posted my findings in a brief two part series at www.emergingedtech.com. Click here to check it out, if you would like to learn more: http://www.emergingedtech.com/?p=98

Thanks!

It's slow, that's about all I have to say since our district now allows YouTube for teachers.
I recently found out about SchoolTube (http://www.schooltube.com/).

They're more focused on schools sharing videos with other schools which is a great approach that differs from the other video sharing websites.
Thanks for the feedback and insight, Robert. I also came across Schooltube and briefly mentioned it in part 2 of my post, but I didn't catch the aspect of School-to-School sharing you cite. That might be a nice angle to help them differentiate themselves, and succeed and grow.
I created an educational videotube a while ago.
While looking for some promotion I found this site, so why not let you guys know about my project.
