Technology Movie

Hi!
I'm looking for some creative ideas and suggestions. Our school district is a 1:1 district in it's 5th year. I and one other Instructional Tech. Specialist have to create a video with before and after tech integration. I want to do something along the lines of "Did You Know" ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pMcfrLYDm2U ), but I'm still struggling with a title/theme to bounce everything off of. I have staged pics for the "before" shots and am using video for the "after" technology integration.
Any suggestions would be VERY MUCH appreciated!

I think I'd start by ask the students and their parents for their observations. If you just let them talk and video their interviews, you can pull apart the audio and video and let their voices underly whatever images you use. A story/theme should emerge as you go looking for what to cut and what to keep. I've done this starting with as much as 30 minutes of video and pulling out the 2 or 3 minutes I really want. With an editing program like Adobe Premier Elements or iMovie, you can do some deft cutting and pasting.

If I had the time, I'd do the before with the parents (Old school) and the after with current students (new school). You could make the parents B&W or bad colorization and the kids rich colour to really emphasize the differences. Perhaps your b/4 captions could be in chalk on a little slate (blackboard) if you can find one, and the after messages on a laptop? I might even look forward to the future if there were any preschool grandchildren around.

Hi,
I would like to say editing a movie is a painfull process. But creating a movie from pictures is very intresting and easy process. If your editing a motion lot's of things can go wrong and it's very time consuming. I prefer pictures into videos.

I wanted to thank you all for your help. I've come up with the theme and we're doing stills and one bridging "pre-technology" video to bridge. Then the rest will be focusing on our new technology.
