Does anyone have a survey for students to gauge their technology level you'd be willing to share? I want to try some new things I am willing to learn about, but it would be very helpful to know about where my students are in terms of knowledge about Web 2.0 tools, as well as more basic tech skills.

Thanks!

I don't have one yet (it's on my list...), but I just wanted to point out that it's very easy to create a survey using the form utility in Google Docs http://docs.google.com. You need a Google account (use a gmail account, or create one from that screen). Then, from the Google Docs screen, select "New" and click on "Form." This takes you to a form editor where you create your survey. When you're done, it gives you a link to give to students, which takes them to the form. When they submit their answers, Google dumps the responses into a spreadsheet, where you can read them or summarize their responses.
