When Google Wave finally releases later this year it is going to stir up things across almost every industry. It has tremendous implications for education and stands to be the most intuitive collaboration tool ever conceived. Check out my post on ISTEConnects and let me know what you think! How might this tool might shape the future of education? See you at NECC 2009 very soon!
I was just talking to a teacher at my school about finding invitations for Google Wave...(we are an American school in Brazil)
I advertised in the school then found out it was still on limited preview release ( I am a Tech Coordinator for Upper School)
I would love an invitation.

Ok. It's on its way. But, patience.... Here's what Google says:
Google Wave is more fun when you have others to wave with, so please nominate people you would like to add. Keep in mind that this is a preview so it could be a bit rocky at times.
Invitations will not be sent immediately. We have a lot of stamps to lick.
My invite took about a week to finally arrive. And then a week after that, I was given 8 invites to distribute.
Hey Eric, how are you? Do you have any invites left? I am a social studies teacher at Great Neck South Middle School in New York and have been an early adopter of Google Apps both in my classroom and at my school at large. I would love to help integrate Google Wave into our educational resources.
Hi Eric, I would LOVE a Google Wave invite. I just completed a Google Voice HW assignment last night and consistently do my homework on my Google Sites website www.mannixlab.com utilizing Google Forms.
It's on the way, Brian. It may take a while to reach you.

Hi Eric, Aloha from Hawaii! Just wondering if you still have any more Google Wave invitations left.
I would LOVE to "ride the Google Wave" with the others! I teach Japanese language/culture at a private school in Honolulu, Hawaii and would be interested in collaborating with schools in Japan!
