Twitter in the classroom

I am at ConnectedCA - We were wondering who uses Twitter in their classrooms and how they connected?

Hi Verena-

My name is Laura and I teach in higher ed. We used the computer lab to connect to Twitter and researched Educational Tweeters to follow. We discussed how most high school students have cell phones today with Twitter capabilities. Some teachers thought it might be good for current events but others could not over look the social aspect of Twitter.
