Using PowerPoint presentations and Windows Movie Maker to create YouTube videos

I was participating in a discussion at one point, and now I can't find the thread. Anyway, the advice I recieved from others was very helpful in learning how to create YouTube videos from PowerPoint presentations. The trick is to save the slides as PNG files, and then inport them into Windows Movie Maker. Don't save the slides as JPEG files, because they will end up fuzzy in the end product. I found this system very easy to use once I figured it out. Here's a link to a video I made.

It's an inefficient way. There are special programs for converting presentations to video and even flash format. Try this one, for example, it's a powerful and cheap tool.
Great tip and great video..and it doesn´t cost anything to create!
How do you think it will look out, if your presentation contained not only pictures, but also animations, videos, music? This tip suits only for simpliest PP presentations.
That looks like good software, Lea. Thanks for the info. However, if someone wants to create a simple video from a basic presentation--for no extra money--this way is really not that difficult.
