Video + ebook hybrids in the classroom

Hi all.

My name is Lauren, I work in Academic Marketing at HarperCollins Publishers.

There has been a lot of talk in the publishing industry lately about "vooks:" video and ebook hybrids. Simon & Schuster is releasing four titles in this new format, and it got me thinking about potential classroom applications for technology. There are many interesting applications of this new technology and I'm curious to hear whether you think it will benefit or hinder students' learning.
