Hi,
We have a teacher who is going to launch a "virtual class" in the fall and I wandering if anyone has had success with this and if so what have you used?

We are fully virtual. We use Moodle as our asynchronous platform and Elluminate as our synchronous platform. We will be running free training on these tools and more throughout the summer for our volunteers, if your teacher wants to join in just pass along my e-mail addy - armoorefam@centurytel.net
Hi Colleen,

I recommend you take a look at Wiziq's virtual classroom and authorstream's power point presentation platform. Both are web based platforms, have a bunch of features and free basic service.
Here’s a Public Virtual Class on Technology Integration you might be interested in given by Nellie Deutsch.
