Web cams benefit more than security?

We are trying to encourage our school there is more to web cams in the classroom than security.

Here are some of our reasons as parents...

1) New rules for sick kids...24 hours after 100.0 temp breaks.  Our son missed a week in Oct. Luckily he is in Kindergaten and make up is still easy.

2) We haven't been in school for 20+years, catching a couple lesson can bennifit us to help when they start bring home the hard stuff.

3) We have alot of "he said, she said" between teachers and students.  We loose a lot of good young teachers to this.

       Discipline and behavior fall into this concern.

Our school is conerned about..

1) Cost

2) Internet set up and security

3) Proof that this will be beneficial to our school
