What Are Your Plans This Year?

Hi Teachers, In Hawaii, our schools are transitioning from our state standards to the Common Core State Standards. I’m interested in learning about how you are making the change. Have you been using project-based activities? What kinds of technology support have you found useful? Thanks! Hayami

OK, perhaps I should start by adding to my overly broad(?) question. This fall I plan to use Diigo for my non-fiction reading. I thought I could use the annotation devices to assist my students with researching questions. There is a very creative teacher site, Curriki, that is a kind of curriculum commons that all members share in. I think whatever you create or contribute is protected by Creative Commons, a global licensing organization. But check me on this, since I am very new to these sites. Anyone familiar with these sites? What are your plans this year? Hayami
