Dear Members,
I hope that I am not beating a dead horse with this discussion.
After all, this is a technology community, and technology is paramont. My pretense is, that you, the teacher, is the source of knowledge, encouragement, interest, and student acheivement.
I have had teachers that changed my life. They had the effect, they "moved the marbel". They provided the compass for my navigation through learning and a career. They were few, but their influence was dramatic.
I came across a blog that I'd like to share, concerning another influential teacher from another's past.

I was looking for an Twilight Zone episode on a forlorn teacher whom felt that his career was a failure.
He was visited by the ghosts of his past students and he was re-assured that his life was not a vainful experience.
Here's a link to the episode recap....PS. I watched this episode when it first aired.

The only great memories that your children will have, is your effect on them. Every gadget, gizmo and web 2.0 tool will fall by the wayside, replaced by another new toy.
You will prevail.
