What would your school do with $500,000

Please vote for Millard McCollan Elementary School to receive $500,000. I teach at this school and I can tell you we really need help. We have good teachers, students and parents. Our test scores are good, but we only have one laptop cart that I share with the entire school. My classroom carpet is torn and taped with duck tape. The male and female faculty share a two stall restroom that is also an equipment room. Most of our parents speak English as a second language and do not use technology in the home.

 

If my school was awarded the money, we would start a Information Competency program for students and parents as well as improve our old facilities. I dream of one day having a smart board and a small computer lab of 4 computers in my classroom. Help me and your school by taking time to vote. Use your facebook account to vote.
