I am in a group responsible setting up a new program. We would like to send teachers from North Carolina to other countries to see technology best practice. Where in the world would you choose to see best practice?

I think there is a lot of good things going on in the UK. I used to teach there before moving to America, and the government has been steadily throwing money at schools to help fund technology projects. There have been interactive whiteboard initiatives, laptop initiatives, software initiatives and so forth, so many schools are pretty well equipped. At the high school where my uncle works, all the classrooms have projectors and interactive whiteboards. (Interactive whiteboards have been pretty common for about 10 years now over there.) I cant recommend anywhere in particular, but there is a good culture for technology over there just now, and the integration of it within the curriculum is a strong and growing movement.

Thanks, I thought of this as a place although I did not want to be biased. I am from the England and I moved to NC 3 years ago. So this may be one good place to visit.
Good to know that I am not the only expat on this forum! I'm from Scotland.
