Depends on purpose- what is your goal, what specific learning do you want to see happen?
Blogs offer a great venue for students to have digital discussions. Discussions on books would be great...
Wikis offer a great collaboration venue where students can collaborate on a piece of writing, presentation, document...
Both can allow you to post links for booklists and other resources..
AGAIN- really comes back to purpose... make a list of what you want your digital presence to do... Good luck
Great focus suggestion! Actually - I am up for suggestions here as well- I would like students to collaborate but am uncertain about any untoward comments that may be be presented - is there a generic policy about how to use these formats? Also - students have expressed an interest in a bookblog - have you done this? If so, how did you set this up? Many thanks!!
