Wordpress or Edublogs?

I'm thinking about starting my very first blog.

Any recommendations on which site to use? I've heard so many great things about Wordpress and Edublogs, and I'm not sure which one to use!

I recently started two blogs with blogspot. It was easy and I like the template choices.

I am thinking of switching to Wordpress, but I dont really like the .com templates. The self host version offers more flexibility, but I dont know if I want to go through the hassle of transferring and setting up self host or not. I'd be interested to see what you decide.
