xeriscaping

I am working with a 3rd grade interested in studying water shortage issues. There teachers are interested in collaborating as much as possible to make their understanding as meaninful, deep and rich as possible. One thing among many they want to learn about is data collection for water usage. Another is xeriscaping and drought resistant landscaping.

Anyone interested in collaborating? We could use partners at any age level. We would love another school interested in collecting water usage data at their school, or helping us learn about water use and shortages in other parts of the country. We are in Los Angeles, CA.
