Comment by Johnathan Chase on March 3, 2009 at 3:35am: Each school year my 8th grade social studies students must select and research a historic person who "made a difference" and then build a 3D Memorial for the person.

During the class presentation they are also required to play a dedication song that pays tribute to the person/event being memorialized.

Over the years students have chosen to memorialize civil rights leaders...
