Cell Phone Projects

I was hoping someone could help me out and let me ask you a few questions about a cell phone project you have integrated into your classroom. I am currently enrolled in a Master's in Instructional Media and this a topic for one of my current classes.

Questions:

Pros and cons of the projects
School policy
Parental involvement and feedback
Challenges, both technical and policy related

I"m currently working on a book, Teaching Generation Text. I would be happy to share a number of applications, lessons, etc with you. I'd love your feedback. Also, I'd love for you to talk to your professor and see if a book such as the one I'll send you would be something useful that could be considered for course adoption. With a few professors endorsements, we are sure to get a contract and get a pioneering book into educators hands as policy begins to change and cells in classrooms become standard.
