My former class (in our country the same teacher  teaches classes in the primary school from 1 th grade to 4 th grade) which just "graduated" from the 4 th grade are at the age of  11-12 year, I'm not their teacher any more, but I'm keeping in touch with them at a daily bases, so if you would like we can collaborate. We start school at the 10 th of September.

I'm from Romania, Europe. My students are children of 8-10 years old, usually. We speak our native tongue, the Hungarian language in the classroom, but we also have Romanian language classes 4 times a week (the official language of the country) and English classes 3 times a week. So we are wery much into active learning stuff.

Hi. Welcome to Classroom 2.0 I am starting a new program at my school called "Beyond the Classroom" and I hope you will be a part of it.  My Goal: connect my students in Brandon, South Dakota, USA  to other students around the world to learn about school and life in other countries. I want to connect with five different places around the world and correspond via my blog to learn about culture and life in our respective places. I teach 6th grade (11-12 year olds) but the subject and age doesn’t matter. I have done this in the past with places like Turkey, Scotland, and Brazil. There are many things we can do with this to make it a very enriching experience. If you are willing to be a part of this, we will talk about the details at that point. My school year starts August 22, 2011.  Visit my blog to learn a little bit about me and my teaching.  http://waterforsixthgrade.blogspot.com

Thank you for your consideration.
