Lesson Plan

I found a lesson plan on the media literacy website called "Why we communicate". In this lesson the students are introduced to the to the three building blocks, which are to; inform, entertain, and persuade. As a class we will look at these different building blocks and then in small groups we will choose one topic from the choices and communicate it in all three ways (inform, entertain, and persuade) and create some kind of poster or sign. They then present their messages to the class. This is a good actvity to help kids with communication and to see how things can be communicated in a variety of ways.
