Found 2 great resources -- the first a general website for integrating technology and the second a painting program that's cheap and works well on interactive whiteboards (no experience with Photoshop required):

My teaching partner and are getting a SmartBoard. ArtRage will be fun for students to make original images for projects, but we can't download in Surrey, so I'll have to take in my own laptop or see if it will launch from an extrenal hard drive without installing on the school computers.
