Hi Indigo -- I obviously need more help in learning how to manage this kind of process and forum.

I think members have been flooded with emails as people have been posting their introductions and comments on the Comment Wall, so they have had to turn off the option of receiving any emails from this group. I have stopped sending out invitations for about 2 weeks or communicating at all for over 2 weeks -- that's why I've taken so long to get back to anyone. I wanted to give time for everything to settle down.

So to send out more invites -- I need to set up some instructions for how to sign in so that new people (a) get to the group and (b) don't plaster the comment wall with messages that go to everyone automatically (c) reassure others in the group that it's OK to turn the email function back on again.

OK so I found the place where I can turn off the Comment Wall , but would prefer that to stay up as read only. Can I accomplish that by disallowing members from sending messages to the entire group?

Is the map displaying properly? I get half of it covered by a big grey rectangle. Should I leave it up or take it down? The company just sends canned responses about changing the settings.
