Jan.23 -- International Year of Astronomy

2009 is the International Year of Astronomy. In Canada we can order Astronomy Kits including a Galileoscope for schools. There is an exhibit called From Earth to the Universe coming to Victoria, Calgary, and Montreal (with other venues possibly to be added?) It can even be viewed in Second Life at Second Astronomy.
