I work at a Charter School called The Indianapolis Metropolitan High School. We are part of the Big Picture network so that means I'm an advisor, I stay with my kids for 4 years and I 'teach' them everything they need to graduate.

Last year we did what we called Indymet 1.0 we used Googleapps to implement a teacher created digital library of courses. Part of our design is to be self paced so kids could take two weeks to do  US Government or a whole semester.  We are very blessed at our school. Nothing is blocked, each student has a netbook, we have wireless internet and an IT staff on standby (we are affilated with a nonprofit company). My challenges, that I invite your feedback on, are...

  1. Moving to LIVE@EDU away from GoogleApps
  2. organizing a digital library of about 200 or more documents for students to access
  3. a website where I can post all of these documents for easy access of students and would allow others outside of our school to use them and provide feedback.
  4. Better general understanding of digitally implementing curriculum...
  5. anything else you might have learned!

Excited to join the discussion!
