Project Participation Needed for Blog

Hi, I'm Sherita from Oxford, AL where I teach Computer Applications, Computer Science, and Math.

I’d like to solicit your help with a project for my Computer Applications class. Students are evaluating and recommending technologies that will enhance their learning while preparing them for 21^st century careers and lifestyles.

One stage of the project requires students to communicate teachers, students, and parents in order to get the community’s view of educational and technological needs.

This is my first shot at this type of project and I'm a little discouraged by the lack of interest from my school colleagues.

Sherita, I checked out the blog and I appreciate your adoption and implementation of technology with your students. I am not a school teacher or administrator or even a parent of a current student (my daughter just turned 4). However, I do work in the academic community and have strong feelings about the use of technology in academics and how we teach our students to use technology appropriately.

I would be glad to reply to the blog post or we could link up another way. Which category would you like me to reply to?
