Anyone looking to collaborate with a 5th grade class in Illinois? Please send me a message and let me know.
Thanks
Hello all! I am a recent graduate for elementary education and am now working on my Masters towards technology in education. I am certified for spec. ed, k-6, 6-12 language arts and 6-12 general science. I really enjoyed incorporating technology in my lessons during my internship, but felt I was sort of limited with both how new I was and with sticking to the mentor teacher's curriculum. My biggest struggle with incorporating technology was in math. I just didn't like teaching it and really struggled (I was in a 5th grade classroom). Does anybody know of any resources that give good suggestions?
Many tech teachers are connecting with classroom curriculum through Journey North. This online project has many ways students can use technology as citizen scientists...reporting sightings, planting and reporting events in tulip gardens, tracking migration.
Currently looking for interested international educators to try hands-on tulip garden experiment. Any connections in Europe, China, Mongolia, or Russia?

Hello everybody. I'm an Efl teacher from Italy teaching k11-14. I'm going through the posts (it'll take a while...) and just visited 'meet me at the corner' website - I've posted a comment on the website where I'm organizing all my links about those nice videos made by students I find them very useful for listening/viewing practice (that bit about pizza is really tasty!). Here are my links if they can be of any help http://limfabweb.weebly.com/ http://limfab.wikispaces.com/
Hello everyone! I was a technology integrator for two different schools, but budget cuts left me out of a job both times. Sigh! I've started to post the technology lessons I created on my own time. Feel free to check them out here

Looking to possibly do a Holidays Around the World Project with my 5th grade class where we link up with classes around the world that can SKYPE call and share about their traditions for December related Holidays. If there is anyone out there that would be interested in setting something up please message me and let me know. I haven't attempted this project before and would love to see how it turns out. having students learn about different cultures to enhance their Global Awareness would be very interesting. They would keep track of their visits as well.

What do you think? Or any ideas/suggestions.
What about having students create screencast tutorials using a free service like Jing. Check out http://mathtrain.tv
