I am new to the group and classroom 2.0 as I just heard of it in a seminar we had yesterday on Podcasting.
I have offered a course in computerized accounting which was web based. I had the opportunity of teaching a student in Australia. I once started teaching the course in Paris while on a trip.
Hi Paul,
I am a strong supporter of integrating technology in the classroom to facilitate learning and making lessons interesting for the students. You are invited to visit my website WordAhead where you can organize activities for the students and encourage them to make videos and upload them to the website and rate each other's work. Its a great interactive way to improve vocabulary. Do take a look!
MIT has used web 2.0 in a variety of ways from making all its course materials available for free to posting videos of lectures and speeches. The project I'm on (SAT Video contest @ www.BrainyFlix.com) is aimed at high school kids, and our tact is to get them to create content themselves... though admittedly, we had to *resort* to offering incentives like small cash prize and iTunes.

Dear colleagues,
We are working on a project on how we can utilize Web 2.0, not only Social networking, in foreign language teaching. Your contributions, suggestions, and ideas are highly appreciated. I will keep you informed about the progress. Please let me know if you are interested.
I have social network called Collaborative Translation. Some language educators do teaching and translation work. You are welcome to join and to contribute to some 21st century benchmarks. http://collaborative-translation.ning.com/
