Bloom's Digital Taxonomy put create at the highest level of thinking. I'm becoming more and more convinced that the richest learning is happening in the creative and collaborative environment of digital storytelling. I made this movie to help put my thoughts together to advocate for this kind of learning experience in the classroom.

Well done, Tricia! How did you get the student's faces inside the glue bottles! What program did you use for the chromakey/green screen? What program did you use for the clay animation?

The kids looked like they had a great time!

Hi Sheila,
I used Keynote (part of Mac's iWork suite) to get the faces in the glue bottles.
You can layer video and images and make transparent areas using the instant alpha effect.
I made a tutorial on how I did this effect for a different movie: http://www.vimeo.com/10007808
The movie with the Glue Bottles is The Glue Blues: http://www.vimeo.com/9576074
Green screen was done in iMovie 09.
The clay animation was just still picts shortened to a fraction of a second each and imported into iMovie.
Here is a video of the girls making those bunnies boogie: http://www.vimeo.com/11724403
