Project Description

We are a small composite class catering for the first three years of schooling in WA. The town is in a rural area and has around 5000-6000 people. The students are of mixed background with English as their first language. They are currently learning the local indigenous language 'Noongar' in their classroom. The children are investigating their bodies and how their environment impacts what they eat, how they exercise and how they grow. We would like to share ideas and discoveries with other classes of similar age.

Project Description

Colliers Green is a primary school set in the Weald of Kent. It is a small school of around 111 pupils. The age range is from 4 to 11. The school was built over one hundred years ago during the Edwarian Period. It is in the middle of the countryside although we have the town of Cranbrook nearby. The children generally travel to school by car. Currently we hold Green Flag status which means that we take responsibility for out environment very seriously. Ideally we are looking to make contact with schools in Canada, Switzerland, India or Brazil (who have English as a language) but would welcome any new friends.

Project Description

My students are in PRE PRIMARY level. Their first language is Spanish, but they are learning English as their 2nd language. This year we would like to "discover" an English speaking country, so we are looking for ePals in any English speaking country. We would like to know what it is like living in this country, people, children, environment, traditions, food, interesting places to visit, etc.... What is similar and what is different?. We prefer to correspond by email and to write once or twice a month. We can attach some pictures about our country, school, children papers (never children faces). The children can´t type yet,so I do. You will meet a very enthusiastic class and teacher. We look forward to hearing from you!!
