Physics in the UK

Hello !
I have a couple of A level Physics classes ( that's students aged 16-18 ) and am looking for any collaborative learning projects to give them some motivation, fun and excitement as they get to grip with what can be a difficult subject by learning through shared activities.

I know that there are issues with the time zones ( we are Zulu time or GMT ) but I'd welcome any ideas from other Physical Scientists, astronomers etc etc !!!
