Hello,
I teach fourth grade in Detroit, MI. I am looking to link up with classrooms from around the globe for a technology-centered project. We're able to use Skype, podcasting, wikis, Edmodo, and more. We are open to anyone's ideas and also open to joining existing projects.

A couple of ideas that I had include an online book club or a project about hometowns (a la Life Round Here http://liferoundhere.pbworks.com, which I don't think is running this year). But, again, I'm open to anything.

I think my class would be a good match for projects for fourth, fifth and sixth grades. We could start anytime after mid-September. If you are involved in a project, interested in collaborating, or have an exciting idea in mind, please let me know. Thanks.

Thanks, Matt. I will be looking into this, for sure.

Ben
I have a group of 4th grade talented and gifted students who I meet with on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. We would love to work with you on a project. We tried last year to find someone to do the Pringle Project where the objective is:

Objective:
The objective of this contest is to successfully mail one Pringle potato chip without it breaking. The winning package will be the lightest package received in which the Pringle did not break.

However, we would love to do anything. We did a simple Skype conference last year with another group where we tried to figure out where each classroom was located by interviewing the students.

We are more flexible in our curriculum so we can meet the needs of your classroom as well. Feel free to contact me at amaurer@bettendorf.k12.ia.us
Cyberbullying is a focus here at the Millis Middle School. Hi. I am David Di Giammerino, Tech Teacher in the Millis Public Schools, Millis, MA. Maybe we can set something up in Moodle and then collaborate using online tools. Do you use Google Apps?
Hi Ben,

I am writing because I am the Director for International Outreach for the Give Something Back International Foundation.

I am in charge of recruiting for the GVC Clubhouse which is the home for the People Exchanging Perspectives (PEP) Program. The PEP Program went through pilot stages and is now going to be launched with a full rollout starting from the end of September!

This program involves communication exchanges between classrooms around the world. I work to find you an international match and then you are paired with a classroom in another country so that exchange can take place. I check in on your exchange periodically and offer assistance with communication whenever needed.

I would love to have the opportunity to tell you more about this program and another program we have called the Global Virtual Classroom Contest. Please feel free to get in touch with me at ronda@gsbi.org. Thanks so much!
