5th Graders in NJ are looking for comments on their reading blog

 I have a 5th grade language arts teacher who is looking students and teaches to respond to their reading blogs.  If this is something that you might be interested in having your students do, please visit

• The goal is for the students to create blogs that share/highlight the interesting features of the person whose biography they are reading.  Our ideal situation is for other 5th grade classes around the country to be able to read and respond to their work.  We would like the student readers to focus on deciding (individually, if possible) which blog most convinced them to want to learn more about the person of interest.  This project is happening right now, and will continue throughout next week.  There will be two to three more blogs written by the students before this project is over, as well as a "book trailer" for the other 5th grade students to read.  Thank you for participating!
