Since elementary teachers have special circumstances to deal with concerning the use of technology, I thought we could meet here to talk and to share ideas for 2.0 integration.

Hi, my name is Clara. I am starting my ninth year as a school media specialist. I was invited to join by Cathy, a former media specialist in our district. I know she has a passion for technology and always has some great ideas/suggestions. I am excited about joining Classroom 2.0. I would love to hear from classroom teachers and/or other media specialists on ways to convert a traditional media center into a 21st century multi-media center that would enhance student learning and teacher collaboration I would welcome any comments.
Thanks

HI, My name is Karen (my friends call me Kiki) and I am one of fourteen facilitators at Frisco ISD. I was a classroom teacher for 14 years and completed my Masters in Educational Technology in 2002. August 2008 will begin my seventh year at Frisco ISD as a Technology Integration Facilitator (TIF).
As a Technology Integration Facilitator, my primary duties are: assisting educators in integrating technology into their curricula, curriculum writing and multiple staff developments. I am currently facilitating a book study for Frisco ISD educators interested in learning the what’s and why’s about Web 2.0 and how it may be applied into their classroom curricula. Please visit our blog, http://web20bookstudy.blogspot.com/. Additionally, please visit http://www.dovewhisper.com/computercenter.htm. These computer centers were developed in an effort to assist teachers in incorporating technology into their curricula. I am new to Elementary School 2.0 and thrilled to have stumbled across it.
Peace!
I am new to Classroom 2.0, and I'm excited about the prospects of connecting with other elementary tech teachers around the country. I have been at my current position for a year after teaching in a 4th grade classroom for 9 years. I love the work and am looking forward to sharing ideas and improving my skills as an instructor.

Hi! I just found out about Classroom 2.0 and am excited to be here. I am a 4th grade teacher in language arts and social studies. I am looking for new ways to integrate technology into my curriculum. My current focus is on creating a podcast that will be used by students and families. I would love any suggestions. I am currently looking at web hosts for this that make it easy to do. I am new to the whole process.
Thanks!

Hi, I've just joined and hope to get a lot of good ideas and interacitons. I teach in a computer lab for k-5 grades. Im lucky enough to have an apps lab so my students get a lot of experience with different software.
Hi everyone! I'm new to Elementary School 2.0. I spent five years teaching at the elementary level (and another three teaching middle school math and science). I'm now the project director for Beyond Penguins and Polar Bears. I produce a free online magazine for elementary teachers to help you learn about polar science and effectively integrate hands-on science and literacy. We have a lot of wonderful content and I hope you'll take the time to check it out - http://beyondpenguins.nsdl.org/. I'd be happy to talk about this project, or elementary science/literacy/technology with anyone that is interested!
