Information on Gamification
There are two schools of thought on gamification of learning.
- Some people refer to gamification as using actual games (existing or proprietary) in education. This school of thought is referred to as Game-based learning.
- Most people consider gamification as merely the incorporation of game mechanics and principles into everyday learning activities. This school of thought is most often called Gamification.
