Hey, how is everyone. I remember a comment or post where members would post their seven favorite math websites for use in the classroom. I have tried to view that comment or post but have not had any luck finding it. If anyone can remember the path/link to the above site I would really appreciate it.

Hi, I am new to classroom 2.0 and I am beginning to design a blogging component for my Algebra cass in order to improve my students ability to communicate mathematically. If anyone has experience with this in the classroom, I would appreciate any insight you might have.

I have not heard this neat term before, Joe, but it looks and sounds similar to what happens in all our Math Clubs. I am interested in collaboration and discussion.

Hi, I have begun using harkness tables ala Philips Exeter. Wondering if anyone else does so, and if so would you be interested in collaborating? Am interested in assessment and in integrating technology I.e google wave.

Hopefully you can find something useful. The table indicates the grade level and/or subject covered on the site. These resources are great for use with interactive whiteboards of any kind, and some of them even have embed codes for use with your websites.

Hey I was just introduced to this great "free" video resource site for math teachers. Just wanted to share it. I found great videos on all high school topics. I think they've got elementary and middle school too - TeacherZone

We at CEET are hosting a week long, online event for math teachers and other interested educators. This will follow Steve H's "unconference" model and will respond to the interests and goals of the participants. The aim is to provide a forum through a math moodle for us to connect, share, and collaborate.

If you're interested, please join CEET and then become a member of the Math 2.0 group there. On that group page you'll find the registration link and you can add yourself to the wiki. The information you give us on the wiki Meet & Greet page will help us create a group of starter topics for the week.

I hope to see lots of new faces in CEET and add you to my list of colleagues there.

Looking for ideas on how to organize my year, topics to teach and sources for material. I teach math at an alternative high school to students who have varied abilities. They are all in one class and each quarter the composition of the class changes. Some students will be new and some will continue that were with me the previous quarter.

Just throwing this out there…
Google Sketch-Up provides a great visual introduction to graphing in 3-dimensional coordinate systems. I had never used it before and after 3 minutes I was able to create some basic solids and such. I will look into this more.

I need a few paragraphs from experienced teachers with regard to "How do you feel students learn?". Specifically, "What theory of learning to you agree with most (ie. Constructivist Theory) the If any one can respond here or on my page that would be a big help. (1 paragraph will be sufficient)
