Hello, I am in Saskatchewan, Canada and I am  working with a group of grades 5-8 social studies teachers in my school that are interested in collaborating on a skype project to learn more about different countries around the world. If you would be interested or have any suggestions, please let me know.

Can any one share with me what technology curriculum they use for Elmentary students and middle? I work in a private school in Egypt. So they wait for the teacher to provide the curriculum!

Dear colleagues and friends,

I was just wondering if you had some questionnaire/checklist to obtain data on foreign language teachers' perceptions on the use of Web2.0 tools. I would like to collect data on this topic. The results will be shared here, of course.

Many thanks for your assistance and cooperation in advance.

As Kevin Honeycutt put it, “Kid’s are changin’ any fool can tell and the ways that you teach ‘em have to change as well. You might not like it ’cause we grow up fast, but prepare us for your future and not your past”. So, what do we do? How do we answer that call? The Horizon Report detailed the major influences in education within the next five years and none of them even existed five years ago. If we are behind now, and continue to shuffle our feet, where will be in five years? Well, what can we do? It’s our move, our turn to roll the dice, our opportunity to make a difference. I don’t know about you, but I see an opportunity before us. An opportunity to be GREAT. It is time for us to be monumental, it’s our time to make history. To make history for our students. Lasting impressions that they will forever remember, cherish and hopefully pass on to others throughout their life.

I'm currently working on my masters in technology and I've always been a big fan of using technology in the classroom. I'm in this groups to learn from all of you and also share resources and ideas I come across. Today I found a great free resource for storing files that I can access anywhere that has internet connection: www.dropbox.com. You can also share access to these folders for approved users. Check into it!

Alline,
Thanks for sharing! I will share this with our preservice teachers at UTK. The course we teach is introducing technology into the classroom...this is a very handy resource!

A while back I began gathering resources for my teachers to use and integrate technology into the classrooms. They got to be so many that I ended up sharing them on the web with the educational community!

There are curriculum resources, smartboard resources, teacher time saver, just about everything I could think of that related to teaching and learning!

Please visit my collection, I would love some feedback!

Hello everyone. I'm Greg Hart. I help teachers become familiar with the technology in their classrooms and help them to integrate it into their daily instruction. I'm currently working on a website for my teachers and am interested in any lesson plans anyone has developed for SMART notebook or Mimio Studio.

Thanks!
