wiiki or blog in gade 4-6 school library setting

anyone using either a wikki or a blog in a school library?If so, has it been successful? Thank you!

With my after school writing club (grade 7 and 8)I had a blog. Only one student had used it an only a couple of times. I now have attached to my library web page a blog of the books I have read. I'm hoping a few of my reading club members will add some of their own books. The library writing blog was privatized. Entries and comments came through me first.
