Hello! I'm so excited to be able to collaborate with some librarians who are more tech savy than I am! I'm still a first grade teacher, but am in grad school to be a media specialist.
I'm hoping for some help. Does anyone know of (or better yet, can provide links to) any studies that show the effects of using Web 2.0 in the library? Thanks for the help! I'm so glad to meet you all!

Hi Librarians!

I'm in need of help! (and I've so often done this in my teaching career, run desperate to a librarian!).

I have an expanding network of thousands of teachers, EFL classroom 2.0 I started an Amazon affiliated bookstore (Astore) but really need help categorizing, only getting the best up there and also highlighting books. http://eflclassroom.ning.com/books

I also want to offer general categories of literature / books! Probably in another Astore that I'd like to offer members here once it is set up.

So if anyone has some time and interest, I'd love your expertise and can share my own tech knowledge. I'd also like to relate that this isn't for profit. All is transparent and I'd like to start my model on Classroom 2.0 also, as a separate store. Great way to offer the best of books to teachers and by grouping together we get discounts / benefits. Hi! I have been in prison for the past 11 years--just kidding, but I have been working in a correctional facility. I spent the first 5 years teaching English and the last 6 working as the the library media specialist. This year I entered foreign territory when I moved to the public school realm as a high school library media specialist. I have been recently been exploring various social networks and open sources online. The real trick is finding what networks and programs are beneficial for me.

Hello all! I've been a classroom teacher for 11 years and recently switched jobs to library media specialist. I love my new role and am back in school to get my degree in library science. I'm interested in learning what other elementary librarians do. And hopefully add to my growing ideas.
