Wow, I'll have to try those apps! I have used ABC Finder, Phonics Genius, Phonics Tic-Tac-Toe and Phonics Awareness apps in the past. They're all free as well. Tic-Tac-Toe and Awareness are games and they are super fun to watch the students play. What I like best about these apps is I have brought in my ipad before and the students are learning hands on with the apps and they are enjoying every minute. ABC Finder also correlates music to the work which I especially like. I haven't tried any of the ones Amanda and Adam listed, but I'll be sure to do so. Thanks for the insight!

Hey, Amanda, those two look great. Going to try them out now. Thanks.

Hey, Robert. Here's a list of some of the apps I've used and that my kids seems to enjoy.

- abc PocketPhonics

- ABC Spy HD

- ABC Spy Phonics

- Eggy 100

- Eggy Alphabet

- Chicktionary

- Happi 123 HD

- iWriteWords

Some are free, some are free-to-try but you then have to buy for the full version.

Hope that helps.

Hey everyone! I've been teaching high school for the past 6 years (16-21 year olds). I'm now teaching K-2nd graders, so I'm very new to the elementary world, and looking for some resources. Specifically good ipad/iphone apps to address letter-sound recognition. Any ideas?

She did! She is now back in U.S. I would love to know of your best websites about Morocco. When you can , could you email me a list, or put them here? megkingabraham@yahoo.com
Thank you!

Wow! what a coincidence! Did she study Arabic there? Is she still around? I would like to have her over.

I have stuff about history,culture..... and of course the Moroccan educational system! You are welcome!

Rahaoui,
Always looking for good resources...my daughter studied in Fez last year. Perhaps I should add it as a "virtual destination" for my students.

Any great digital resources on China, Egypt or London? I'd love to use them in my summer school class with grades 3-5. Thanks!
