Mahler: Toward Abstraction in Art

This group has been created to encourage discussion of the movement in art toward abstraction and indeterminacy -- away from tonality in music, the figure in art, and straightforward syntax in language.  Generally, a study of 19th century and early 20th arts.  Special focus on the music of Gustav Mahler
