Thinking Routines, Thinking dispositions, thinking maps, Habits of Mind, thinking...

When do we start and how do we do it? How young can they be?

What is the power of making thinking visible?

What is the impact of using these approches in creating a culture of learning?

Here is a space for sharing our experiences, doubts and make our thinking visible.
Lets reflect on educational practices and their impact on the twenty-first century education.

Just a thought:

If we see the children as citizens of today and not tomorrow, we'll start to hear their voices, to be interested in their thought processes, to validate them and realize that we do not have the answers, they build them; they reinvent them and lead them to unimagined places.

The power of creativity and potential of thought is in our hands.

If we listen to our students with genuine interest, if we observed them from a lens of research that wants to understand how they think? What they think? And what is their real potential?
If instead of using the lens of the teacher with the curriculum that you know all the answers, we give them the opportunity to make hypotheses and explore, looking for new solutions; then I think, we would be really giving them tools for the twenty-first century life.
